Another 51 new cases of A/H1N1 fluwere confirmed on the Chinese mainland in the 24 hours ending 6 p.m. Sunday, bringing the country’s total to 729, but no fatality has been reported. Nineteen new cases were confirmed in coastal Guangdong Province, and eight each for Beijing and Shanghai, according to a news bulletin posted on the Web site of the Health Ministry. Provinces of Fujian and Jilin and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region each reported three new cases, provinces of Jiangsu and Shandong each reported two. Zhejiang, Henan and Hunan provinces each had one, it said. Among the patients, 401 have been discharged from hospitals, 314 were being treated in hospitals and 14 were receiving medical care at their homes.
